MP1050/4 Manawatu Wastewater Centralisation Project, Stage 1b - Mt Stewart to Awahuri/Feilding Road Intersection
MDC intends to convey all wastewater from local townships over the next 5 years into the Manawatu WWTP, located in Feilding. The townships include; Sanson, Rongotea, Halcombe, Cheltenham and Kimbolton.
The Contract involves the installation of approximately 4.2 km of wastewater falling main and ducting for a future Inspire fibre-optic cable from Mt Stewart to Awahuri/Feilding Rd Intersection. The works are along State Highway 3 and Stewart Rd and include the installation of various air valves and associated chambers.
