Preferred Supplier Arrangement for the Provision of General Vegetation Management (Mowing)

⁠⁠⁠Council owns and/or manages a significant amount of properties across the region that require vegetation management control from time to time. These properties include footpaths, traffic islands, laneways, fire breaks, pump stations, road sides and easements. These properties vary in size and may be located in difficult terrain requiring 4wd machinery and experienced operators. They may also be obscured by fallen timber and rocks and on occasion be susceptible to erosion.

Council is seeking to engage suitable contractors to undertake slashing and mowing of these properties and may engage services on an hourly rate basis or may request quotation for work to be performed on the basis of a set price. Where set price quotations are requested Council shall provide detailed breakdown of the property.
