The purpose of this open REOI is to call for expressions of interest from suitably qualified Contractors with experience in public swimming pool construction for the renovation of the existing outdoor 50m pool at Rotorua Aquatic Centre.

Without limiting the possible outcomes of this REOI process, the intended purpose of this REOI is to pre-qualify and shortlist 2-3 Contractors for participation in a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) process.

The existing outdoor 50m pool was constructed in 1973 and is to be renovated as part of a larger programme to upgrade the overall Aquatic Centre facility.
The detailed design for all aspects of the work is currently in progress and a full set of detailed drawings will be issued with the tender.
