Tender Description
Council is seeking Expressions of Interest ("EOIs") from suitably qualified and experienced respondents to manage creative multidisciplinary teams structured under a lead consultant, who is an architect, for the design development and documentation of 2 of its existing Aquatic centres, Canterbury Leisure & Aquatics Centre and the Max Parker Leisure and Aquatic Centre.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to provide innovative and sustainable architecture that will meet the needs of one of NSWs most diverse communities.
It is Council’s aim to encourage collaborations between established and emerging architects, as well as single established practices that can demonstrate their capacity to be inspirational in implementing technologies that future proof our leisure and aquatic centres and provide a quality experience for our residents while reducing long-term maintenance costs.
Via this expression of interest process Council will endeavour to shortlist 4-5 companies to go through a selective tender process for the services described in section 3 of the EOI.
There is no mandatory site briefing at this stage of the process.
A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this EOI.
