Scope of work
Rio Tinto requires a contractor to repair and/or replace fencing infrastructure that has been damaged as a result of Cyclone Damien earlier this year.
There is approximately 1000 metres of fencing that requires repair and/or replacement across ten work locations at Rail and Dampier Port.
The scope of work will include the following tasks:
- Replace or repair damaged straight post galvanized chain-mesh fencing
- Replace or repair damaged cranked post PVC chain-mesh fencing
- Replacement and/or re-tensioning of barbed wire sections
- Re-tensioning of existing fencing
- Repair of gates
- Disposal of damaged fencing
