South Island-based Fellows are invited to express interest in joining the Aotearoa NZ Adult Medicine Division Education Committee.
There is 1 x Member position available.
The Committee is encouraging applications from South Island-based physicians.
The Committee is responsible for:
- implementing the Colleges Education Policy and strategic directions in relation to education in the Adult Medicine Division in Aotearoa NZ
- ensuring standardisation in basic and advanced training delivery across all specialty areas
- ensuring all forms of assessment and accreditation are conducted fairly, efficiently and in a transparent manner and in accordance with standards
- advising the College Education Committee (CEC) on education policy and program development for Division and Chapter training programs
- working collaboratively with Specialty Societies and other key stakeholders on education development and delivery
- monitoring basic and advanced training program requirements and curricula, recommending changes to the CEC
The Committee holds 2 face-to-face meetings at the RACP Wellington office and up to 4 videoconferences per year. The next Committee meeting is via videoconference on 22 July 2020.
