Registration of Interest - Supply of Trailer and Accessories For 33mwa Rapid Response Mobile Substation (Rrst-T81)

⁠⁠⁠The Scope:

Transportable mobile or relocatable transformers are a strategic option to maintain electricity supply during outages for the repair or replacement of existing substation transformers as well as to provide a short-term solution for temporary supply. Hence, Western Power is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers, for the provision of the following:

• to supply and deliver a trailer with all the necessary accessories for 33MWA, 132/23.33/11.67kv rapid response mobile substation Wilson transformers (RRST-T81) (Option 1); and
• to refurbish and/or overhaul the existing trailer (Option 2).

Suppliers who are suitably qualified and experienced are required to:

• Define the scope of works for both options above;
• Demonstrate their market capabilities to conduct and complete the work within an acceptable timeline for each option;
• Furnish road safety standards; and
• Provide itemised pricing for both options.

Registration Requirements:

Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the ROI submission:

• Demonstrate track record and/or capability in delivering WS2337532159 – REGISTRATION OF INTEREST - SUPPLY OF TRAILER AND ACCESSORIES FOR 33MWA RAPID RESPONSE MOBILE SUBSTATION (RRST-T81) in relation to the high-level Scope requirements stated above.
• Reference from customers who have received similar services or provide an overview of similar nature of commercial services either currently or previously held within Western Australia
• Safety, Health & Environment information to be requested as part of this exercise.

If the trailer is replaced this must be approved by the Australian Motor Vehicle Certification Board indicating that the trailer complies with all Australian Design Rules (ADR) applicable to the manufacture vehicle category code TD04.

We are seeking a ROI from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers capable of providing recommendations as required above. We are especially interested in identifying Suppliers with experience in manufacturing and/or repair/refurbishment of heavy haulage steerable trailers meeting Australian Standards and Western Australian road regulations.
