Tender Description
The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women (the department) provides residential care services for children and young people, as part of the continuum of placement and support services that comprise of care which is provided in accordance with the legislated standards of care (Child Protection Act 1999, section 122) and the Charter of Rights for a Child in Care (Child Protection Act 1999, section 74 and Schedule 1).
The department is seeking to procure non-family based residential care (T206) services for four (4) young people, aged 12 to under 18 years who have been assessed as having complex to extreme levels of support needs (U2307) under the Child Protection (Placement Services) Investment Specification Version 2.2 using the Placement Services – Residential Care (T206) Service Type.
The department is seeking a suitable supplier with innovative approaches to supporting children and young people and, who can deliver improved outcomes for the cohort.
