The City of Albany (the “City”) is seeking proposals from suitably experienced community organisations and businesses to partner with the City to operate a Containers for Change Refund Point at the Hanrahan Road Waste Facility. This is to best meet objectives to benefit community organisations, provide employment opportunities and most efficiently use City resources.

The City will consider a range of proposals for partnership such as, but not limited to:

• a not-for-profit organisation, employment agency, community group, or small business to provide staff to accept, count and prepare containers for transport, while the City provides some or all equipment and capital outlay (e.g. counting tables, IT hardware and consumables, power and internet access) and/or some oversight of operations (e.g. staff training and/or supervision), or
• a business or organisation to take on full operations and capital outlay.
