Tender Description

Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $13.2 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Integrated pest management of citrus gall wasp and Fuller’s rose weevil (CT19009).
The objective of the project is to identify and make available complementary integrated pest management (IPM) tools for the effective management of citrus gall wasp (CGW) and Fuller’s rose weevil (FRW). Specifically, the project aims to:

  • Understand the biology and ecology of CGW and why its range and impact has expanded over the last decade
  • Develop improved IPM tools for managing CGW and FRW
  • Collaborate with existing projects and networks to communicate and extend new knowledge and practices from the project that will maximise adoption and commercial benefit across the citrus industry.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
