Central Coast Council is seeking Tenders for a contract for the Redevelopment of Maidens Brush Oval, in the suburb of Wyoming. Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the preferred Tenderer.
Maidens Brush Oval is an existing sports ground at Wyoming. Redevelopment of the existing sports ground will include: bulk earthworks, re-leveling and re-turfing, installation of a new irrigation system & 'sandlink' drainage system, as well as a small retaining wall.
Background
Maidens Brush is considered an older field, and has a no functional irrigation system. It also has no subsoil drainage, and remains out of play for an extended time after heavy rainfall. The upgrade will improve the park's usage, and will accommodate sporting user groups relocating from Leagues Club Park, which is currently being redeveloped into a large foreshore park.
