Australia has recently experienced unprecedented deadly bushfires, floods and winds. Local communities are on the frontline of the impacts of climate change and economic transition.
Local governments in cities, towns and regions are responding to the urgent demand from their communities for climate action to work with them to ensure a prosperous and fair future.
The Sydney Climate Action Summit will build on the spirit of generosity created by bushfires, and the call from communities, business and young people for comprehensive action.
We’re inviting applications from organisations and individuals interested in hosting an associated event as part of the Sydney Climate Action Summit.
To be eligible to apply, associated events should be able to raise awareness about the climate emergency and the impacts of climate change, promote the climate solutions, technologies and products.
The Sydney Climate Action Summit associated events program will take place from Tuesday 31 March to Thursday 9 April 2020.
