Submissions are invited for the supply & delivery of a medium rigid jet-vac truck to be used for maintenance and clearing of Warrnambool City Council’s drainage assets.

The jet-vac truck is a jetting / vacuum truck that uses high pressure water jets to clear significant blockages in drainage pipes and has a high suction vacuum that mechanically cleans and removes silt, litter and debris from side entry pits and other drainage assets into the truck for disposal.

The purpose of heavy plant purchases is to ensure a safe, modern and efficient fleet fit for use within its branch and Council’s overall operations. Continually reviewing new machines, new innovations and procedures in the selection and evaluation process is critical to keep up with modern technology.

Plant item chosen must be delivered to Council’s Municipal Depot 10 Scott Street Warrnambool in a fair and reasonable time frame with plant inductions and all options and needs specified in plant specification met with no outstanding issues.
