Sitzler have been successfully operating in SA since 2001, building projects across the Education, Health, Recreation, Defence, Civil and Manufacturing sectors for Federal & State Governments and private clients.

Sitzler has recently been awarded an Early Contractor’s Involvement (ECI) contract for the Glossop High School Redevelopment to be delivered as part of the Building Better Schools program.

Currently in the design phase, Sitzler is working closely with the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI), the Department for Education (DfE) and Glossop High School stakeholders to ensure we provide outstanding facilities appropriate for the delivery of contemporary pedagogy; improving learning outcomes for students.

Sitzler is seeking Expressions of Interest for the trades required on the project as well as other key opportunities. Works are expected to commence on site in Q2 2020 with completion around October 2021.

The works to be delivered as part of the Glossop High School Redevelopment project include:

• Consolidating Glossop High School as a unified campus on the Berri senior campus creating a year 7 to 12 secondary school.
• Refurbishment and expansion of existing buildings including administration and performing arts creating an expanded performing arts studio.
• Construction of new buildings for flexible learning, including home economics, technology and outdoor learning areas.
• Demolition of ageing infrastructure.

As a local industry champion, Sitzler is committed to maximising local industry engagement and will continue to communicate via the ICN Gateway platform throughout the course of the project to update the market on all opportunities that may present themselves. We will identify the successful local subcontractors, creating additional opportunities downstream for local industry in the Riverland region.
