Consultant for Condition Assessment & Design A05 Rising Mains

⁠⁠⁠Gladstone Regional Council (GRC), is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to locate, undertake a condition assessment and develop a solution for the rehabilitation or replacement of the rising (pressure) main of A05 Sewer pump station (SPS). This rising main is DN300 (NB 272mm) Class C Asbestos cement pipe approximately 1220m long and 50 years old.

Consultant to perform the following tasks as shown below:

1. Establish the rising main alignment / actual location of DN300 (NB 272mm) Class C Asbestos Cement pipe approximately 1220m long and 50 years old;
2. Condition Assessment of the rising main to determine a path forward for the rehabilitation or replacement plan;
3. Optioneering to determine the optimal approach for rising main rehabilitation or replacement including new alignment and material selection;
4. Desktop study to determine any third-party owner’s approval requirements – Queensland Rail, GAWB, or any others;
