Sitzler Pty Ltd has recently been awarded the contract to deliver RAAF Darwin AIR7000 Phase 2B Package 1.

The scope of works to be delivered under this vertical works package, includes:

• the construction of a maintenance hangar for one P-8A Poseidon aircraft,
• the construction of support squadron facilities
• the construction of operational zones including SCIF

The Package 1 works will be delivered adjacent to the $90M pavement and infrastructure project (Package 4) which was secured by Sitzler in Q3 2019.

Sitzler would like to thank local industry for their support, time and effort during the tender period. They will continue to utilise this gateway page to update the market regarding any further opportunities, including the identification of successful subcontractors for downstream opportunities.

Sitzler are committed to maximising local industry participation and despite the limited local availability of some of the requirements of this complex project, have set the project target for local industry engagement as in excess of 85%.
