The scope of work is for the provision of MODU equipment, materials and services for Australian offshore drilling and completions operations as detailed below (including but not limited to):

•  Drilling Unit – DP (dynamically positioned, minimum Class 2 - Enhanced) or moored semi-submersible; DP ship or a moored semi-submersible with DP capability.
•  Mooring (if applicable) – 8-12 point mooring system (optimal = 12 for year round mooring including cyclonic conditions).
•  Safety Case – Australian Safety Case required for work in offshore Australia.
•  Hole Sizes – Range from 42” to 6”
•  BOP – 18.3/4”, 10,000psi (minimum), sour service rated with two annular preventers and a minimum of four ram type preventers. BOP must be API ST 53 compliant.
•  BOP Wellhead Connector – Capable of latching onto a Vetco H4 profile wellhead.
•  Surface Control System – 10k psi (minimum) choke manifold with material suitable for sour service region 3 as per NACE MRO-0175.
•  Drill String – Minimum of 1500m 5.1/2” or 5.7/8” OD, and 4500m 6.5/8” OD with tool joints capable of drilling and fishing in 8.1/2” hole, plus 800m of 3.1/2” drill pipe.
•  Solids Control – Assigned space and infrastructure to support 2 x cuttings dryer and 2 x centrifuge with the ability to discharge processed cuttings from both dryer and centrifuges below water line. Previous operational experience drilling with SBM/OBM using a cuttings dryer and/or ship and skip disposal method.
•  Circulating System – Minimum 5 x shakers with ability to pump sand traps back above the shakers.
•  Deck Space – sufficient deck space for rig tubulars, riser and casing. Rig should also have sufficient desk space for well test equipment, gravel pack equipment and the ability to incorporate RMR (Riserless Mud Recovery) package.
•  Dry Bulks – Ability for the rig to store dry bulks such as cement, bentonite and barite.
•  ROV – Accommodation for minimum 1 x ROV
•  Pipe Handling – Offline make up and break out capability to rack back BHA, drill pipe and casing, or full dual activity rig.
•  Tree Handling – Moonpool configuration to handle trees, offline assembly and testing of EDP/LRP.
•  Crane - Minimum of 2 x heavy lift cranes with >60mT @ 15m or less and >30mT @ 40m or less.
•  Derrick Capacity – Min 1,300kips.
•  Top Drive – TDS minimum continuous torque >100 kft-lbs preferred. Drill pipe to match TDS output.
