Tender Description

The Dorado Project is a greenfield oil development located offshore WA approximately 150km northwest of Port Hedland comprising of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO), Wellhead platform (WHP) and various subsea (SURF) equipment.
Geophysical and Geotechnical Study work is required to provide seabed characteristics input into the piling design and installation philosophy for the WHP, FPSO piles and Subsea Flowlines and Umbilicals.

Scope of Work:

A detailed site investigation is to be performed, to gather the information required for the engineering design work to support the geotechnical interfaces of the development infrastructure. The geotechnical testing and sampling requirements envisaged are Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs) and boreholes to assist with the design for Wellhead Platform (WHP) foundations and FPSO mooring anchor piles.

In addition to the geotechnical scope, limited optional geophysical survey work may be required at the FPSO mooring anchor pile locations and along the flowline and umbilical route in areas which have not been covered by the existing surveys.
