Design and Construct Contractor

⁠⁠⁠Development Victoria is seeking responses to a Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) to engage a Design and Construct Contractor for the Docklands Studios Melbourne, Sound Stage 6 project (Project).

Sound Stage 6 is a purpose built 3,700sqm state-of-the-art, dry-hire facility for film and television production. Sound Stage 6 will be the studio’s flagship stage. Its combination of floor space and height will give it features common to only a handful of stages worldwide. Affixed to the eastern elevation of the Stage will be a 3-storey annex building housing back-of-house support functions and offices.

The procurement model will be a design and construct contract selected via a two-phase procurement process with an EOI followed by a detailed RFT process for invited shortlisted bidders.

Bidders will be selected from the CSR with demonstrated capability of managing $30 million plus projects.
