Tender Description
Statement of Interest and Ability (SIA) is invited from suitably experienced contractors interested in being shortlisted as prospective Tenderers for the Harapaki Windfarm, Substation and Electrical Construction Works.
This SIA is the first stage in a two-stage procurement process. More detailed and specific attribute information will be requested in the second stage and will be required to be submitted with tenders for the purpose of the tender evaluation.
From the SIA submissions, up to four Tenderers will be selected to submit a tender for the Contract Works (second stage).
Meridian Energy is seeking contractors with experience in delivering wind farm Substations and Electrical Works. Contractors with specific experience in the Hawkes Bay region, and a proven record of delivery of major Electrical works will be of interest.
Contractors without windfarm experience but with experience in building and commissioning electrical substations will also be considered.
