Defence Finance Group, FBT Systems Specialist Support

⁠⁠⁠A requirement exists to resource specialist support for the replacement of a Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) Access Database and creation of a more contemporary solution. The current solution was first developed in 2010 and has degraded over time to a point it no longer considered efficient, suitable or viable to sustain in the long term.

The replacement should establish a single source of truth for Defence FBT processing and information and improve data quality through greater control and availability. Redesign the current database, improving processes, removing duplication and building a solution using web based technology that is available within the Defence Protected Network (DPN).

The replacement could be developed in house using tools available to Defence or in conjunction with a third party vendor using software and tools available for purchase by Defence.

The replacement will need to meet the current and unique Defence environment, with capacity to accommodate future changes with respect to FBT legislation and changing business requirements, ensuring a single source of truth for FBT data can be established and maintained.

The replacement must ensure security of data is maintained.
