This procurement is part of the earthquake remedial/upgrade works to be undertaken on the central campus of Christchurch hospital.
The work is based at the South East Corner (block A) and concerns the panel around the external façade of the building. The full height exterior panel removal is to address their earthquake prone nature and the structural bracket remediation of in-situ panels is to improve their performance in case of a seismic event.
The work is to be undertaken in a live hospital environment, the block itself will be vacated during the extent of the works however the adjacent buildings and blocks will be a highly sensitive and live environment which will need to be considered throughout the duration of the work.
