Construction of Composite Fibre Structures

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from suitably experienced contractors for the construction of composite fibre structures for three projects at Stuarts Point within Kempsey Shire Council.

The structures comprise:

1.  A jetty/beach access structure approximately 36m x 12m with disabled access ramp and stairs to beach
2.  A 10m x 6m viewing/fishing platform
3.  A pedestrian access ramp 90m long x 2m wide meeting disability access standards

All three structures involve driving, vibrating or jetting 125mm x 125mm composite fibre posts to support the composite fibre superstructures. The decking on the jetty is 50mm hardwood planks while the viewing platform and access ramp have "Minimesh" composite fibre decking.

Preliminary plans are available through Council's online tendering website: (see option below).
Council will supply all materials delivered to the site. The three structures will not necessarily be constructed at one time.
Interested contractors should provide details of experience in construction of composite fibre structures and experience in working over water to Fisheries Permit constraints for harming marine vegetation.

Details of key staff to be engaged on the works and suitability of plant and equipment should be provided. Pricing is not required at this stage. Council will invite quotations from interested parties that demonstrate acceptable experience.
