Tender Description

Scope of Works:

Refurbishments and upgrades to the central facilities including both front-of-house and back-of-house at five RTIO Villages (Hope Downs 1, Brockman 2, Windawarri Lodge, Rocklea Palms and Jundunmunnah Camp). This includes (but not limited to) areas of reception, dining, crib, serveries, kitchen, toilets, office, cold storage, dry storage, chemical storage and waste storage.

The nature of the works will include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Demolition of existing and installation of new walls, ceiling, flooring, doors, windows, built-in cabinetry/furniture, etc.;
  • Building extensions including civil and structural works;
  • Removal of existing and installation of new services including but not limited to mechanical/HVAC plant and equipment, electrical equipment and wiring, and plumbing/gas piping and fixtures;
  • Installation of new cool rooms;
  • Removal of existing and installation of new kitchen equipment including (but not limited to) ovens, cookers, fryers, conveyor dishwasher, blast chillers, fridges, freezers;
  • Building architectural fitout including new finishes, fittings and furniture; and
  • All works, materials supplied, etc. shall be in accordance with RTIO and/or Australian Standards.

Please note:

  • The above scope of work is a high level summary description of the works
  • Drawings and specifications will be provided as part of the tender
  • New kitchen equipment and movable furniture will be supplied by the principal but installed by the contractor
  • Contractor will be required to provide valid demolition, builder and asbestos licences.
