Tender Description
The Sewage Pump Station (SPS) WG5B is located on the southern side of Victory Parade between 29 Victory Parade and 31 VictoryParade. The pumping station is situated adjacent a stormwater culvert. The station receives gravity flows from the surrounding residential area of Tascott as well as upstream pumped flows from other pumping stations.
The station was identified for upgrade as part of a prioritisation program for Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) refurbishment and capacity upgrades which included condition assessment by various disciplines. Capital upgrades are required to address identified civil, mechanical and electrical deficiencies.
The refurbishment includes, but not limited to:
- Protective coating to wet well,
- replacement of pumps and pipe works,
- valve chamber extension,
- switch board and power supply to reduce OH&S maintenance risks at the station and
- bring the station up to current Central Coast Council (CCC) design standards.
Mandatory Pre-Tender Meeting will be held at SPS WG5B, Victory Parade, Tascott, commencing at 10:00am on 11 February 2020.
