Mineral insulating oil is used extensively by Energy Queensland as an insulating fluid in power transformers, instrument transformers and switchgear in the transmission and distribution network. Energy Queensland requires the establishment of an arrangement for the provision of mineral insulating oil across major locations in Queensland.
