Tender Description
Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in accordance with the following International Standards:
o IEC 62619 Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes - Safety requirements for secondary lithium cells and batteries, for use in industrial applications
o IEC 62620 Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes - Secondary lithium cells and batteries for use in industrial applications
• Scope of supply shall include the following:
o Lithium-Ion batteries and battery enclosure/support system
o Battery Management System (BMS)
o Cooling Water Circulation Cubicle
o Inverter Cabinet
o Inverter Control Panel
o BESS Remote Monitoring Unit (RMU)
o Power Transformer for connection to 13.8kV system
• Transformer construction shall be dry type fully encapsulated cast resin in accordance with IEC 60076 Power Transformers
• Compliance with the requirements of the Lloyds Register Rules and Regulations for the classification of Offshore Units
• Scope of supply shall include the control and protection of the entire BESS system including all auxiliaries and any necessary measures to ensure safe operation
