Scope of Works
Geoscientific Image Database Replacement including migration of existing data (core and RC chip images approximately 750,000 images 1TB).
Including but not limited to the following:
- Ability to manage a large number of high resolution images - potentially 4TB per year
- Preferably web based solution allowing access to images and linking via acQuire/Leapfrog/Vulcan
- Ability to store multiple types of images - i.e. core/chips/telemetry/grab samples and potentially time-series images
- Ability to store searchable metadata with images
Please note:
- Local server and cloud based storage solutions will be considered
- Current image database is well maintained with Hole ID and intervals recorded as part of the image filename.
