Traction and Non-Traction HV Maintenance

⁠⁠⁠The PTA requires planned scheduled and unplanned breakdown/repair maintenance of its the

sub/feeder stations, traction section cabins (including Perth switching station) and all non-traction

HV equipment and related equipment, including;

•  Annual transformer oil test for sub/feeder stations;
•  Major maintenance of all equipment in the sub/feeder (every four years);
•  Major maintenance of all equipment in the TSCs and Perth switching station (every four
• years);
•  Major maintenance of all equipment in non-traction HV sites (every four years);
•  Maintenance of PTA’s battery chargers; and
•  Other ‘ad-hoc’ maintenance requirements (including repair and testing).
