Tender Description
The Department of Justice (the Department) seeks to appoint a panel of contractors to supply and deliver commercial kitchen and bakery equipment to Western Australian prisons. The equipment will be used in the kitchen, bakery and vegetable preparation areas of various prisons and Banksia Hill Juvenile Detention Centre.
The Department reviews existing equipment on an annual basis to determine if there is a requirement to replace (with the same or an equivalent product) and/or purchase additional kitchen or bakery equipment for any of the prison sites.
The products required are divided into three (3) categories:
- Commercial Kitchen Equipment
- Commercial Bakery Equipment
- Accessories
Note:
- Respondents may bid for one (1) or more Categories.
- Respondents may bid for a Category, even if they cannot supply all items in that Category.
- The Department may appoint:
one (1) or more successful Respondents for the supply and delivery of Products in each category; OR
only one (1) successful Respondent for the supply and delivery of Products in all Categories.
The resultant Head Agreement will constitute a standing offer (the Agreement), whereby Customers can place Orders (the Contract) on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term.
