Quality Assurance, Lump Sum Contract for the Construction of Whitton Transfer Station

⁠⁠⁠Leeton Shire Council (LSC) seeks Request for Tender (RFT) from suitably qualified people to construct all works associated under Contract No. LSC2020-101 – Quality Assurance, Lump Sum Contract for the CONSTRUCTION OF WHITTON TRANSFER STATION.

General Description of the Site

The site is located at the corner of Naradhun Street and Douglas Street at Whitton, NSW. Municipal waste services for the village of Whitton are currently provided by skip bins and through kerbside collection. The skip bins are located near the Water Treatment Plant on Brunell Street, Whitton.

It is proposed to develop a waste transfer station in Whitton, NSW. This tender is for the construction of a Waste Transfer Station in accordance with the designs. This project aims to improve overall accessibility of the skip bin collection system and provide recycling opportunities to achieve safe disposal of domestic waste and to allow for recycling.

The Work Under Contract includes site clearing and preparation, retaining walls, concrete works, road works, culvert installations, associated drainage works, installations of gates & fences as well as shade cloth.
