Bendigo GovHub - D&C Contractor

⁠⁠⁠Development Victoria (DV) and Regional Development Victoria (RDV) will release an Expression of Interest (EOI) to develop the City of Greater Bendigo Council Office site (the site) into a major customer service and public administration office complex to accommodate up to 1000 staff.

Following the EOI, DV intends to shortlist highly capable D&C contractors to provide the services and works for the construction of the Bendigo GovHub project.

Contractors will need to demonstrate experience in delivery of major construction projects in excess of $60M, plus experience in timber construction.

The procurement will be subject to the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria, the Local Jobs First Policy as applicable to Strategic Projects (including the Major Projects Skills Guarantee) and the Social Procurement Framework.

The works will be delivered under a design and construct model using a modified AS4300 contract.

It is expected that tenders can complete the works within the required timeframe; the indicative program anticipates the following key milestones:
