Tender Description
West Daly Regional Council is seeking tenders for the supply and installation of (including Site Preparation)
- Water mains
- Stainless steel high pressure automated irrigation system
- Stainless steel lockable valves
The system will be required to irrigate an 80 x 80 metre Softball Pitch (Lot 97) and an 150 x 130 meter Football Oval (Lot 87) at Peppimenarti (refer to maps below)
Available water source is approximately 150 metres from the Softball Pitch and approximately 30 metres from the Football Oval and may require the installation of water tanks to store water
Supply and installation of suitable a water storage tank and plumbing for the purpose of providing water to allow the irrigation system to function at full capacity all year round
The supply of Water Tank and plumbing will only be necessary if existing storage sources are not suitable
Both systems will need to be automated to run during night hours daily and must be vandal proof
Where applicable full manufacturers warranties as available
Provision of Electrical and Plumbing works associated with the installation of the irrigation system
Conditions include extremely dry and dusty conditions from May to November and extremely wet conditions from December to April
