8 Mile workshop modification for Ore Car Maintenance

Tender Description
Works proposed are to upgrade 8 Mile 87RD within the workshop so that it is fit for serving as a secondary ore car repair facility. The upgrade will on completion provide two fit for purpose wagon maintenance workstations:
- Station 1 (wagon jacking) : A wagon jacking and general maintenance station
- Station 2 (wagon pit ): Used for braking and undercarriage inspection/maintenance
The works will comprise of:
(a) Replacing the existing asphalt floor with a concrete floor suited to a rolling stock maintenance facility
(b) Constructing a pit suitable for 2 ore car pairs
(c) Extending the workshop by 2 bays to the South and enclose the currently open ends
(d) Supply / Install rollershutter on each of the rail entry points, 4 in total
(f) replace lighting with LED lighting
(g) Apply system changes to services as required, including: power, water and compressed air systems
