Tender Description
This contract is for construction of approximately 482m of new DN450 DICL water main, 42m of DN300 DICL, 4m of DN200 PVC and 6m of DN150 PVC water main at the Yamble Reservoir and Orana Way in Ocean Shores, NSW.
Works for the DN450 DICL main will include the connection of the new main to an existing pipe outlet of the Yamble Reservoir; the construction of a new flow meter pit; the installation and connection to power of a new flow meter (flow meter to be supplied by Council); connection to via new pipework to the existing DN150 pipework; connection to existing DN250 DICL main; connection via new pipework to an existing DN300 DICL/CICL main; and connection DN200 AC main at northern extent of works
Construction of the new main must occur while the existing main remains in service. Planned shutdown of the reservoir is permitted only for the connection at the reservoir. The contractor must plan for this activity to minimise the amount of time the reservoir is out of service.
