River Park Mowing

⁠⁠⁠The Principal is seeking to appoint a Contractor to undertake River Park Mowing and Line Trimming throughout its river parks across the City.

The River Park consists of open grassed areas along the Canning and Southern Rivers that may be bordered by wetlands, natural vegetation, singular and grouped trees with low hanging branches, formal and informal pedestrian and cycle paths.

The Contractor will be required to provide all labour, plant and equipment, materials, chemicals, transport/cartage, supervision/administrative costs, surveying, travelling expenses etc. and anything else necessary to carry out the services required under this Contract.

The Contractor is required to:
1) Perform routine mowing of the City's River Parks 
2) Line Trim (whipper snip) specific areas in the River Park
3) Commence mowing on the defined week of the month and continue from that point until all zones or sites are completed. Continuation of work should not exceed 10 working days.
4) Set the cutting height of the mowers to achieve a grass cut height of 100 mm above the soil level unless otherwise directed by the Principal.
