Tender Description
An across government online engagement tool that will provide a single, consistent and secure solution to be used by both, agencies and members of the public, to consult and influence policy decision making or as a user research mechanism for government service design. The platform will be configured and customised to maintain the key elements of the existing YourSAy platform.
As an across government solution, the platform will achieve value for money and economies of scale by avoiding the need for agencies to independently seek and implement their own solutions. This will also give a clear and consistent message to citizens on the government’s position about engagement and decision making.
It is expected that the user requirements for the online engagement tool will be provided through a single supplier. However, consideration might be given to the option of integrating different tools to satisfy agencies’ needs.
The resulting contract will be an across-government period contract for an initial term of three (3) years with two (2) x one (1) year extension options (1 + 1 years), totalling contract term to five (5) years. It is considered that a 3+1+1 (total 5 year) contract term is appropriate for the nature of this arrangement due to the customisation and implementation requirements.
