Mountain View Road Water Main and Rider Main Renewal

⁠⁠⁠This contract is for replacement of the exiting AC 100mm Pressure Main Water pipe & AC 50mm Rider Main pipe with new DN150 PVC-O PN12.5 Pressure Main Water pipe and 63MDPE PE80 PN12.5 Rider Main pipe and associated valves, laterals, Hydrants, fittings, connections and reinstatement of surfaces to the same extend as before.

It is required that the contractor supply all of the plant and material necessary to carry out the works and associated activities indicated , described or implied in the specification drawings.

This contract is within the Otorohanga township and communication with residents, safe pedestrian and traffic management is a priority. This contract will require liaising with other service providers to identify and locate service lines which may interact with new Water Main construction work.

The Contract will involve approximately 1500m of trenching, laying new DN150 PVC-O PN12.5 Pressure Main Water pipe and 63MDPE PE80 PN12.5 Rider Main pipe and associated valves, laterals, hydrants, fittings, connections and reinstatement of surfaces to the same extent as before on Mountain View Road in Otorohanga.

This contract has been separated into sections and may be constructed over financial years as a series of separable portions.
