Tender Description
The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite applicable parties to submit their proposals to prepare a draft strategy for the Masterton District Council’s Parks and Open Space Network, in accordance with this RFP.
Work has already been undertaken to determine and understand our existing parks and open space as a network. Including identifying lands potentially in and out of scope, defining open space, determining draft park categories and a desk top data collection of the network with a focus on our urban sectors.
We require mapping, community engagement, park and open space assessment and planning advice and services, to work in partnership with MDC personnel to develop a draft strategy by July 2020. Its envisaged MDC personnel will undertake the public consultation phase of the draft strategy and any amendments.
