Tender Description

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises of the construction of:

1 x 3 bedroom dwelling on lot 496 on the new sub-division;
1 x 3 bedroom dwelling on lot 497 on the new sub-division;
1 x 3 bedroom dwelling on lot 500 on the new sub-division;
1 x 3 bedroom dwelling on lot 503 on the new sub-division;
1 x 3 bedroom dwelling on lot 504 on the new sub-division;
1 x 3 bedroom dwelling on lot 505 on the new sub-division

The construction and associated works include but are not limited to;

  • Provision to cart all waste material to Katherine Waste Management Facility
  • Construction of 6 x 3 bedroom dwellings on Lots 496, 497, 500, 503, 504 & 505
  • Painting of external colours will be advised upon award of the contract
  • Installation of RAC (Rectangular Air Conditioners) penetration frames, as per drawing B18-18660 for block construction
  • Installation of Solar Hot Water Units with a 300L system required for 3 bedroom dwellings. (6 x 300L) including stone-guards
  • Ceramic tiling, including skirting, throughout in lieu of floor vinyl
  • Supply and installation of fencing and gates – front and rear boundary fencing to include a vehicle and PA gates 1500mm.
  • Landscaping
  • Connection of internal services including electrical, mechanical ventilation, water and sewage disposal
  • Supply and installation of fixtures, fittings and finishes in accordance with RCH Schedules and Specifications (Attachments A and D) and details within drawings.
  • Survey site and establish existing boundaries.
  • Siting of new dwellings.
  • Earth works including land fill in accordance with Flood Zone Construction requirements. Construction of new dwellings including services connection (electrical, communications, water and sewerage disposal)
  • Construction of verandahs and adjoining structures.
  • Site works
  • Concrete driveways, paths and mowing strips
