⁠⁠⁠Invitation to Offer (ITO) – for the Delivery of a Data Protection Design & Implementation Project

The Customer is seeking proposals for the Delivery of a Data Protection Design & Implementation Project. The customer is seeking to use this invitation to offer to enter into a Single Supplier relation to for the supply and delivery of this project.

An initial Term of one (1) year with the option to extend for a further Additional two (2) Periods of one (1) year but not exceeding a Maximum Term of three (3) years.

TAFE Queensland has organically grown from 13 separate institutions state wide managed within one Ministerial Department of the State Government, then consolidated into 6 regional Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) some 4 years ago, while being moved to its own separate Statutory Authority and then consolidated into a new single RTO from 1 July 2017.

The technology stack has evolved from legacy and without a single consistent model resulting in a diverse set of technologies being deployed. The reduced support of the technology stack has meant that it now has limited capacity, complex structures and large amounts of equipment that has reached end of life.

TAFE Queensland’s data protection environment covers a wide range of services across multiple sites across the state of Queensland. The current solution consists of multiple designs merged together including software providers, software versions and Hardware devices. These solutions are in various states of supportability.

There is a requirement to redesign the data protection solution to match TAFE’s current centralised and cloud strategy.
