Tender Description
Supply all necessary labour, plant and material and install a sample preparation and analytical laboratory and its associated services.
Suppliers wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to perform the following tasks:
• detailed excavation for foundation preparation, trenching and installation of in-ground services;
• form and pour in-ground reinforced concrete structures;
• supply, assemble and erect structural steelwork, cladding and roofing for the facility;
• supply and install compliant cooling and ventilation system;
• supply and install voice and data communications system;
• supply and install low voltage electrical distribution board, reticulate wiring and all lightings for the facility;
• supply all fit-out materials and install in accordance with design
• supply and install fully compliant fire detection and addressable system;
• supply and install an integrated system providing a complete end to end sampling to analysis solution.
• supply and install all instrumentation and controls fittings and cables;
• plan, coordinate and complete pre-commissioning, dry & wet commissioning and testing activities for the lab facility;
• compliance with, or demonstrate capability to comply with, statutory, Rio Tinto documentation requirements, technical and standard specifications;
• previous experience with major project delivery for Rio Tinto is highly desirable;
• previous experience in construction of mine site laboratories.
