Tender Description
Weddin Shire Council plans to call tenders for the construction of the new Grenfell Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in February 2020. The plant is an IDAL/SBR with sand filters, UV and chlorination to produce recycled water for urban use.
The new STP will be constructed on a greenfield site, adjacent to the existing STP in Memory Street, Grenfell. The new STP is fully designed.
The estimated cost of construction is $9-$10 million.
Contractors who are interested in tendering for the project are invited to attend an interview with Council's project team in Sydney. Only organisations who seek a position as head contractors are invited to attend.
Each interview will be 45 minutes long, and will include a briefing on the project from the project team. Tenderers will have the opportunity to present their experience and capabilities.
The interviews will be held at the Adina Apartments Hotel 17 Bourke Road, Mascot on 30 January 2020 between 8 am and 4 pm, and on 31 January 2020 between 8 am and 12 noon.
