Expression of Interest - R33 Watea Road, Torbay

⁠⁠⁠The Hibiscus and Bays Local Board invites expressions of interest from local community groups to lease a section of land situated at R33 Watea Road, Torbay and take over ownership of the hall situated thereon. The gifting of the hall will be on an as is, where is basis.

The building is currently owned by the Torbay Senior Citizens Club and is operated as a community hall. Preference will be given to community groups expressing their interest to manage the hall as a community venue. Applicants will have to be an incorporated society or charitable trust.

The parcel of land is situated at R33 Watea Road, Torbay and is described as Lot 1 DP 88189 held by Auckland Council as a Local Purpose (Community Facilities) Reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation, and to accept or reject any applications.

The building will be available for viewing on 16 December 2019, from 10am-12pm.
