Due to legislative changes for security at regional airports in Australia, Council has obtained funding to proceed with an upgrade to the existing Whyalla Airport Terminal Building.

The City of Whyalla invites Expressions of Interest from respondents for the proposed Construction of the Whyalla Airport Security Upgrade and Extensions to the existing Terminal Building and associated works.

Council will then conduct a shortlist of the most suitable respondents based on criteria submitted and the associated weighting and score achieved by each respondent. Upon completion of the shortlist, Council will invite a number of EOI respondents to participate in a Select Request for Tender process.

The anticipated cost for the proposed works is between $5,000,000 and $7,000,000 (GST exclusive).
