Tender Description

The supply, manufacture and installation of the concrete, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and communications works for upgrades to the existing Western Turner Syncline 1 (WTS1) overland conveying system and the existing Tom Price Dry Crushing and Screening Plant areas.

The majority of the works for this package can only be completed during various shutdowns scheduled between June 2020 and May 2022 with some works being undertaken in the periods in between or prior to the shutdowns and comprise the following:

  • power network extensions, communications extensions;
  • utilisation of existing WTS1, TP process plants, stockyards and train load out facilities;
  • upgrades to the existing WTS1 OLC; and
  • upgrades to the TP DCS plant.

Specific Scope Requirements: Contractors wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to
complete the following tasks:

  •  Supply, fabricate, surface treat, deliver to Site, offload, install and commission all structural and mechanical steel and plate work, floor grating, handrails, conveyors, tanks, piping, cable, cable ladder, conduit, instrumentation and concrete; and
  •  Offload, store, maintain, assemble and install all Company supplied equipment including:
  1.  Motors, gearboxes, couplings, HS brakes;
  2.  conveyor equipment including drives, pulleys, idlers, belting, weightometers, tramp magnets, metal detectors;
  3.  screens;
  4.  feeders;
  5.  VSD;
  6.  air conditioned enclosures;
  7. MCC starter panels/cabinets;
  8.  Power transformer;
  9.  Switchrooms;
  10.  inflatable liners; and
  11.  compressor.
