Standing Offer Arrangement for the Purchase of Operating Equipment and Associated Service Options.

⁠⁠⁠Offers are invited by Department of Health for the provision of theatre/surgical equipment, associated devices, OEM parts and consumables and service options (OEM or OEM-sponsored warranty/extended warranty servicing) including:

•  Surgical Microscopes (General Surgical and Plastics, ENT, Neurology and Ophthalmology);
•  Surgical Lasers – including sub-groups ENT, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Plastics and Dermatology and Urology;
•  Surgical Tools (Powered and Non-Powered) – including sub-groups Small Bone, Large Bone, Micro and Other Speciality, Ultrasonic-Surgical Units, Hydro-Surgery and Shaver Systems;

1.  Pneumatic, Battery and Mains Power Operated Systems are invited.
2.  For Offerors that tendered Electrosurgical Units (ESUs) under Tranche 1, please note that some ESUs may be offered as a sub-set to surgical tool sub-groups here.

•  Operating Tables - including sub-groups General Surgical, Orthopaedic, Radiolucent Imaging; and
•  Surgical Luminaires - including sub-groups Operating Theatre, General Purpose, procedure and Examination.

This Request for Offer falls under Tranche 2 – HSQ84800 Standing Offer Arrangement for the Purchase of Operating Equipment and Associated Service Options.

PLEASE NOTE
Closing Date, Moratoriums and Clarifications:

•  2:00PM on 4 February 2020 (Queensland time). There will be no extensions offered or considered beyond this date and even with closure times this is a longer tender period than usual.
•  Tender timeframes are set as follows:

1.  26 November 2019 - 8 December 2019 – Suppliers commence the review of documentation, identify questions and commence submissions. Requests for clarification may be sent but will not be responded to unless determined urgent.
2.  9-20 December 2019 – round 1, clarification requests actioned, addenda issued weekly during this period unless an urgent update.
3.  21 December 2019 - 12 January 2020 – 3-week period of no clarifications.
4.  13-24 January 2020 – round 2, clarification requests actioned, addenda issued weekly during this period unless an urgent update.
5.  25 January - 4 February 2020 Suppliers complete their submissions. No further clarifications will be issued.

•  Any doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Request for Offer must be addressed as per the Conditions of Offer (refer to Clause 7.3).
•  The QTenders whole of government tendering solution does not offer any support services over the Christmas New Year period from 24 December to 6 January, inclusive.
