Expression of Interest - Impounded Vehicles For Sale

⁠⁠⁠Council currently has in its possession abandoned/seized vehicles that have been impounded in accordance with the Impounding Act 1993. As per Section 24 of the Act, Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for the purchase and removal of these vehicles.

• IMV003 1999 White Iveco Prime Mover (VIN: 6f2vfl d00xdf30034)
• IMV004 2000 Silver Commodore (VIN: 6H8VTK35HYL584044)
• IMV005 2000 Grey Jeep Cherokee (VIN: 1J4G848N2YY123546)
• IMV006 2001 Mitsubishi Magna (VIN: 6MMTJ8D461T032458).

Vehicles are not registered, their condition is not known and inspection is recommended. Council offers no warranty or after sale service on the vehicles. Inspections can be arranged by contacting Ray Mitchell, telephone (03) 5020-1300 or by email EOIBalranald@balranald.nsw.gov.au during business hours.

Expressions of Interest must be received by no later than 2.00pm Monday 9 December 2019. Each Expression of Interest will be required to be formally submitted in writing and addressed to: Expression of Interest - Abandoned Vehicles Balranald Shire Council PO Box 120, BALRANALD, NSW, 2715 Or on email to: EOIBalranald@balranald.nsw.gov.au
The Expression of Interest will need to clearly identify:
1. The full name of the person submitting the Expression of Interest.
2. Full address of the person.
3. Phone number of the person.
4. Item number on which the offer is being made.
5. The amount in dollars that is being offered for the purchase. The person/s submitting the highest offer will be deemed as the successful Expression of Interest, and will be advised in writing by Council, and will then have 48 hours to remove the vehicle at their own cost. The person/s who submits the successful Expression of Interest will be required to produce valid identification upon acceptance and removal of the vehicle.
