Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the reconstruction of the two northern groynes and a geotextile sand container seawall (approximately 200m long) as part of the Maroochydore Entrance stabilisation works along the frontage of the Cotton Tree Caravan Park.
The works comprise:
- Deconstruction of existing two Northern Groynes (Groynes 3&4);
- Construction of new Groynes 3 & 4 - including Supply ,filling and placement of sand containers (including sand dredging if required);
- Deconstruction of existing Geotextile Sand Container “seawall”;
- Construction of new Seawall - including Supply ,filling and placement of sand containers (including sand dredging if required);
There are two possible options to renew the existing groynes and Sea wall:
- Option 1: Construction with 2.5m3 geotextile sand containers laid in a herringbone configuration;
- Option 2: Construction with 5.0m3 geotextile sand containers laid in a stretcher bond configuration.
