Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Vegetation Management Services (Including Groundworks)

⁠⁠⁠Council provides a large range of vegetation management services as part of its core services to the community through its day labour workforce. This tender is seeking suitably competent and equipped Contractors who are interested in providing vegetation management services (e.g. mowing and slashing, brush cutting, spraying, specialist arboricultural services/qualified arborists) to supplement Council’s operations for one or more of the following types of services:

• Urban Allotments
• Urban Public Space / Major Facilities
• Rural Roadside Slashing
• Rural Herbicide Spraying
• Specialist Arboricultural Services (Qualified Arborists)

The Vegetation Management Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers is intended to provide Council with resources to supplement its work teams, either during the peak growing season, or for defined areas of work within the region. Contractors will also be invited to nominate one or more location/s across the region in which they would like to be considered for work.

Contractors must ensure that in providing any of the Services requested by Council that all the requirements for those Services are addressed and delivered as described in this Specification.

It is Council’s intention to select a range of Contractors to service the Maranoa Regional Council area.

This Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Vegetation Management Services will commence on 1 April 2020 and will remain current until 31 March 2022.
